Safety center

Technology helps. Good judgment still matters.

Understand identity verification, live sharing, emergency access, reporting, and the limits of every safety feature.

Before the trip

Check the person, vehicle, plate, and route.

A verified badge confirms only the configured identity process. It is not a criminal-background check unless Kwiker actually performs and discloses one.

Review verification

Confirm the badge and profile match the person you meet.

Confirm vehicle details

Check make, model, and plate before entering.

Keep coordination in-app

Preserve a clearer record and avoid suspicious requests.

Read recent ratings

Use reputation as one signal, not a guarantee.

During and after

Share, leave, report, and preserve evidence.

Live location and trip links

Share with people you trust and stop sharing when appropriate. Availability and accuracy can be affected by permissions, GPS, battery, device state, internet, or map services.

Emergency access

The SOS control should call or open the local public emergency mechanism. It is not monitored by Kwiker.

Report concerns

Report a profile, trip, or conversation. For immediate danger, do not wait for ordinary customer support.

Honest reviews

Describe completed-trip behavior accurately. Do not retaliate, discriminate, threaten, or manipulate ratings.

Safety boundaries

Know when not to continue.

  • Do not enter a different vehicle or travel with a different person than the accepted profile.
  • Leave or cancel when you feel unsafe, the provider appears impaired, the vehicle appears unsafe, or the route changes without agreement.
  • Use seatbelts and follow road-safety rules.
  • Never carry illegal, dangerous, or undisclosed goods.
  • Preserve screenshots, chat, trip identifiers, and relevant evidence when reporting an incident.
